WEBSITE COMPONENTS OVERVIEW
Below is an overview of the needed components for a website.
A Registered Domain
This is the name and address of your website. This is usually your company name or something close to it. This is registered with a Service Provider like GoDaddy or Afrihost. For example, www.vdwaltteam.co.za or vdwaltteam.com. Your domain name also determines
your email addresses, for example info@vdwaltteam.co.za
A Hosting Provider
This is the server (a computer constantly linked to the Internet) on which the website will reside. It is like having a constant open front door. People are able to connect to your website at any time through the Internet.
We use GoDaddy as our Hosting Provider.
A Website Platform
There are multiple platforms (software and hardware) that can be used to build your website with. For example WordPress or Squarespace.

The designed website includes the layout, colours, fonts, images, text, video content, company logo and main menu, etc. that the public can view and interact with

STEP 1
The Ins and Outs

If our standard packages don’t suit your needs we will work on a custom quote.
STEP 2
Agreement Phase
We send through a quote that you need to be happy with and sign off on. We require a 50% deposit before any work can commence as well as the content and needed images.
STEP 3
Let’s start designing
Now we can start working on the perfect design for your website based on your specific requirements.
STEP 4
After a few days of working on the design, we will send through a demo link for your review and approval.
You need to give us feedback and we can then tweak the design and functionality until you are looking for.
STEP 5
The Final Countdown
We will start finalizing the website and test everything to make sure we are ready to go live.
We will also request the final balance for the project beforehand.
